Refund Policy
Last Updated: August 3, 2026
1. Overview
TalkDa uses Paddle as its payment provider and merchant of record for paid digital products and subscription services. Refunds, cancellations, and withdrawal rights for purchases processed through Paddle are handled in accordance with Paddle’s refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
TalkDa may assist with refund-process guidance and customer inquiries. Actual refund approval, payment cancellation, and refund execution are handled by Paddle.
If this Refund Policy and Paddle’s policies differ, Paddle’s policies and any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law will prevail.
2. Free Services and Service Credits
TalkDa may provide free services. Free services, free trials, promotional access, or unpaid features are not eligible for a refund because no payment has been made.
Service credits granted through free trials, events, promotions, or similar means (Echo) are not eligible for a refund. Whether paid service credits (Core) are refundable follows Paddle’s policies and applicable law.
3. Refund Eligibility and Request Periods
Whether a refund is available, and the period within which a refund may be requested, may vary under Paddle’s policies and applicable consumer protection laws.
Consumer rights guaranteed by law may differ by country or region.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
4. Technical or Product Defects
If you experience persistent technical issues, a material product defect, or a problem that prevents you from accessing the features or benefits described, please contact TalkDa first so that we can try to resolve the issue. TalkDa may assist with troubleshooting and refund-process guidance.
If the issue cannot be resolved, you may request a refund through Paddle. Even where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, actual refund approval and processing are decided and handled by Paddle under applicable consumer protection laws and Paddle’s policies.
5. Discretionary Refunds
Unless required by applicable law, transactions may be non-refundable. However, Paddle may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis under its policies.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. Paddle decides whether to approve a refund, and may consider factors such as the nature of the product, the reason for the request, usage or consumption, applicable contractual terms, and relevant legal requirements.
6. Subscriptions and Future Billing
If a subscription is not eligible for a refund, you may still cancel the subscription to prevent future billing. When a cancellation takes effect follows Paddle’s policies and applicable law.
7. How to Request a Refund
For payments processed by Paddle, please request a refund through one of the methods supported by Paddle, including:
- the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your transaction confirmation email;
- the support link provided in your receipt or billing page; or
- Paddle’s buyer support site.
You may also contact TalkDa support. TalkDa may assist with refund-process guidance and inquiries. Actual refund approval, payment cancellation, and refund execution are handled by Paddle.
8. Refund Method and Processing Time
If a refund is approved, Paddle will process the refund to the original payment method where possible. The actual processing timeline may vary depending on Paddle’s policies, the payment method, financial institutions, and similar factors.
9. Abuse and Fraud
Refunds may be refused where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, chargeback abuse, or other manipulative behavior, in accordance with Paddle’s policies and applicable law.
10. Changes to This Policy
TalkDa may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of the transaction will apply, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
